... a little hamlet with an historic pub, lake, river and great surf beach ...

Just down the road from us is Yambuk, a little Hamlet with an Historic Pub, Lake, River and Great Surf Beach.

Walking: along the river and lake, or cross over the sand dunes and walk on the beach.

Very Often your's will be the first footsteps in the sand. And you can walk for miles and miles along the beach if you feel so inclined. As we often do. You'll see Wallabies, Kangaroos, Emu's and Black Swans more often than people once you get a couple of Klms along the beach.

Fishing: Brilliant place for fresh water, estuary or beach fishing.

You start on the beach, and if it gets too windy or rough, walk back over the dunes and fish in the lake.

Picnic: Great for all the family. Dad can fish, mum can read and relax, the kids can play, all in the same place.

And there's public barbecues there for you too.

When you've finished, you just drive back up the road a little way back to Codrington Gardens to freshen up and laze in the gardens with a coffee or wine.
